    Interiors

The B&B's name, L'Isola di Alcina, comes from the fresco in our bedroom which was painted by Nicolò dell'Abate and is dated to the mid-16th century. Parts of this fresco are now kept in Bologna's Pinacoteca Nazionale. It portrays a scene taken from the poem Orlando Furioso in which the sorceress Alcina makes all travellers, including Ruggero, welcome in her Palace. A place where guests spend happy, unforgettable days...
